A burger is also a kind of sandwich but in this case sliced buns, in which grounded patties of either beef or pork or chicken is placed in between the sliced buns along with finely chopped vegetables, lettuce, olives and tomato.

The buns used in hamburgers are sesame seed buns. The ground patty is usually grilled or toasted in a pan. These delicious buns are usually served with slices of cheese, mayonnaise or any other secret sauces.

The thin crust pizza is a type where in the base dough is made thin whereas the thick crust pizza is a type where in dough base is made thick.

Burger vs Pizza – Moneywise comparison

The price of a burger and pizza varies largely due to the types of toppings and stuffing’s added. In America, the median price of a pizza ranges from $5 to $50 whereas the median price of a burger ranges from $2 to $15. This price applies to other parts of the world with slight variations when accounted for currency conversions.

One of the favourite fast food takeaways when it comes to the burger is McDonald’s and Burger King. Whereas the best fast food takeaways when it comes to pizza is the Dominos Pizza and Pizza Hut.

So in conclusion, when it comes to burger vs pizza moneywise, burger wins hands-down because the it is cheaper when compared to its counter part.

This post between burger vs pizza is for calorie conscious persons. Many people do not count the number of calories when it comes to eating either both of them and they often wonder how much calories they have intook after they have eaten a lot.

Hence it becomes very important for people to know about the number of calories they have taken and also the health nutrition as well between the two foods. Hence in this post, we have covered the nutritional information between these two foods.

Fat

Fat is one of the important nutrient requirement of our body and it act as the super energy saver stored in our body. But it has its limits.

Over presence of fat in our body leads to obesity and an array of health problems ranging from cardiovascular to nervous and respiratory problems as well.

The daily intake limit of fat for an average person is 45 to 80 grams. One pizza slice contains 10 gm of fat. Usually, one complete pizza has 6 full slices and hence it contains 60 gm of fat.

The cholesterol content of a double patty burger is 55 mg whereas the cholesterol content of a single slice of pizza is 17.5 mg. The cholesterol content of a full pizza is 6 times the single slices having 17.5 mg equaling 105 mg.

Hence the cholesterol content intake by a person in one serving of pizza(two slices) is 35 mg whereas the cholesterol content intake by a person in one burger is 55 mg. Again in comparison on burger vs pizza on cholesterol, pizza wins hands down.

Sodium

The average recommended limit for sodium for an average person is 2300 mg per day(Source: CDC). The sodium content of a hamburger is 498 mg whereas the sodium content of a single slice of pizza is 650 mg. The sodium content of a full pizza is 6 times of single slices having 650mg equaling 3900 mg.

Hence the sodium content intake by a person in one serving of pizza(two slices) is 1300 mg whereas the sodium content intake by a person in one hamburger is 498 mg. Again in comparison to burger vs pizza on sodium, hamburger wins hands down.
