Garlic Chicken Recipe Introduction:
Garlic chicken is one of the tastiest and an easy dinner dish to prepare. Whenever we run out of dinner recipe ideas, this Garlic chicken using a chicken leg piece/drumstick is a great idea to impress our family or loved ones. Traditionally this recipe is a blend of Western and Indian Cuisine. This tasty and easy dish originated from the southern state of Tamil Nadu, which directly qualifies this recipe as a Tamil recipe. I personally prepare this dish whenever I am in a sad state of mind. Although this perfect blend of chicken and garlic provides a great taste and a unique blend of recipes, it makes this dish also quite healthy.

2 Chicken (sliced up into medium pieces about 14)
3 tbsp Cornflour
1/2 cup Oil
2 large Onion, sliced
3 teaspoon Ginger, finely chopped
8 Garlic cloves
For the Sauce:
3 tsp Soya Sauce
1/4 cup Water
2 tbsp Apple cider Vinegar
1/4 cup Blanched Tomato Puree
1 tsp Himalayan pink salt
1/2 tsp black Pepper, refined and powdered
2 tsp Cornflour

Let’s see step by step instructions on how to prepare/make garlic chicken recipe.
Firstly, wash the chicken pieces and let it dry for some time.
Secondly, Pour the cornflour and chicken into a paper or plastic bag and shake quite well to coat the chicken well.
Afterwards, Remove them and dust off the excess flour from the chicken and keep aside the floured chicken.
Next, Heat oil in a Kadai/pan over medium heat.
Then, add chicken pieces first over low heat then increase the heat and fry till golden crisp colour and cooked through.
However, Drain the oil well using tissue paper and keep aside.
Next, In the remaining rest of the oil, add sliced onion, ginger and garlic cloves, and stir fry till onion is golden brown.
Finally, add the chicken, toss around a few times and then add the mixed sauce ingredients which we prepared earlier.
