For the patty:

  • 1 pound of ground chicken (you can use any kind)
  • 2 tablespoons of minced garlic
  • ½ cup of breadcrumbs
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon pepper
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 ounces cheese crumbles

For 1 burger in between ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup of plain yoghurt
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 2 Onion slices
  • 2 Tomato slice
  • 3 Lettuce leaf
  • 2 Cheese slices

  1. Before starting with the recipe, it is very important to keep all the ingredients ready. Keep the vegetables chopped, meat minced well and all other ingredients handy in small cups.
  2. Slice the onions carefully and place them aside. The tomato should also be sliced instead of diced. Burgers require onions and tomatoes to be sliced rather than dicing in order to get the best results. Unwrap the plastic from cheese slices and keep them aside.
  3. The first step in making this delicious and healthy dish is to prepare the meat for cooking. You need to grind your own beef or chicken into a fine powder using an electric grinder. This will make sure that you get a uniform texture throughout the entire kebab.
  4. If an electric grinder is not available for grinding the meat, you can also purchase minced chicken meat from the super market.
  5. Mix all the patty ingredients and form into a ball shape. You should be able to make about 12 small balls from this mixture. If you want more or less than that, just adjust accordingly.
  6. If the minced meat ball is coarseor sticky, use olive oil to soften the ball. Now press the grounded chicken balls into flat-shaped patties. Add the grated cheese on top of the meat balls and press them.
  7. Heat your pan with oil over medium heat. When hot enough, add in the chicken kebabs and cook for 5 minutes on each side until golden brown. It is essential the kebab patty be cooked well because well-cooked patties often make great burgers.
  8. Place the fried patties into a bowl with tissue paper. The tissue paper helps absorb excess oil from the patties. Keep tissue paper handy, so you can wrap them individually and keep them warm while they are being served when it’s time to serve them.
  9. In order to get the kebab feel, take one piece of fried meat and place it on wooden stick and cover it with aluminum foil until it’s completely covered. Repeat the same process with other pieces of meat. Now place smoking camphor inside the aluminium foil and leave it aside for 5 minutes.
